Y6 have learnt about International Women’s Day. We learnt about what it stands for, discussed the word ‘equity’ and looked at some inspirational women. We then created some collage art work showing girls and women in different jobs or sports that are “typically male” to show equity.

We have been busy creating spiders using playdough. The children decided on their own individual designs- some use split pins for eyes and some included black hair. One child even inserted a brain! I love how different they all look.
