STEM (Science Technology Engineering Maths)

STEM at Hatfield Academy.

STEM is taught discreetly every week from Year 1 to Year 6. Every class is encouraged to engage students in practical lessons that interesting, creative and allow students to think outside the box.  The aim is to develop students understanding of the full process, from the initial idea and research of a product, to the design, modelling and production of a product.

Our work continues with Workwise to ensure that students understand STEM from the outside world and develop students awareness of jobs and opportunities on their journey into adulthood.
