It is essential that children attend school as much as possible to make the best use of their education.
The school day starts at 8.30am – EY, Y1, Y2 and Y3 will be greeted on the yard, with Y4-Y6 going straight into their classes.
Our morning register will be taken at 8.45am. Any children arriving after this time will be marked Late. The register closes at 9.15am, any children arriving after this time will be marked with ‘U’ (late after register closes). This means they miss their mark for the morning session.
Should your child be absent please phone the school on 0114 2456871 (option 1) to leave a message before 9am or notify us via our Parent App.

Any absence in term time destroys the continuity of your child’s education and may reduce chances of success.
Parents are expected to take their holidays when schools are closed. If there is a reason why this is not possible, please contact us.
