At the beginning of our new English topic, year 4 received a strange video recording from a gentle man called Shackleton. After watching the video, year 4 had to write a recruitment letter to Sir Ernest Shackleton stating what type of qualities they had to take part in his expedition.
Please check out the video from Ernest and our fantastic recruitment letter from Ruby stating how brave, bold and courageous she is. All the children worked really hard on writing fantastic recruitment letters and using ambitious vocabulary to try and persuade Shackleton to take them on his journey into the unknown.
