We are delighted to share that Hatfield Academy has been recognised as a Centre of Excellence by Voice 21 – a significant achievement that celebrates our commitment to helping every child find and use their voice.
Being a Voice 21 Centre of Excellence means that our school has demonstrated outstanding practice in developing pupils' speaking, listening and communication skills across all areas of school life. It recognises the work of our staff and pupils in creating classrooms where children are encouraged to think deeply, discuss ideas confidently, ask thoughtful questions and express themselves with clarity and respect.
At Hatfield, we believe that learning to communicate effectively is just as important as learning to read and write. Through our oracy approach, children learn how to:
