Celebrating Chinese New Year

It has been a very exciting and new week of learning in Reception, as we have been learning all about Chinese New Year. The children have been finding out about the traditions at this special time of year. Through stories, videos, songs and role play, we have found out lots of interesting things. The children have really enjoyed making their dragons, playing in the sensory rice and noodle trays and dressing up in traditional Chinese costumes. The teachers are really impressed with how much the children can remember about the celebration. Well done Reception!
