Establishing a good partnership with parents/carers is a priority for everyone here at Hatfield Academy.
At Hatfield we are committed to working closely with parents, families and the wider community. Information about projects and engagement opportunities are discussed at every Parent Forum.
– Volunteering: Use your skills and knowledge to support the school by volunteering. We are looking for parents to get involved by supporting in-school learning, after school provision and school fairs/events. Volunteer application forms are available to collect from Reception. For more information about the volunteering process, please contact Mrs Lingard.
Breakfast Club – Feeding our Hatfield Family!
At Hatfield we know how important it is to get a healthy start to the day. When children are hungry it’s much harder for them to concentrate, think clearly and be active.
We have a fantastic breakfast club in our school canteen from 8:00-8:25am where children can get toast and cereals for free. Children and parents can also buy a range of other breakfast items such as crumpets, hot sandwiches and drinks.
In addition to this, with support from the National School Breakfast Programme, we will be making sure that every child in school has access to something to eat when they arrive. From 25th February we will be providing bagels as children enter school which can be eaten during registration. This will make sure that every pupil has the opportunity to start the day full of healthy energy and ready to learn!
