Culture Day in Year 5

Yesterday was Hatfield’s Culture Day and many of the year 5 children came dressed to impress. All of the children felt huge amounts of pride in what they had come to school wearing and were excited to discuss their clothes with staff and peers alike. Year 5 Neptune read the poem ‘Alive’ by Antonia Jade King to the rest of the school and it was clear to see the passion that they had for the poem’s content. We finished the celebration by dancing down the catwalk and showing off our clothing and culture to the school. Definitely a day and celebration to remember!
