Y5 Diwali Workshop

On Tuesday, both year 5 classes got the opportunity to partake in a Diwali workshop, where the children developed their understanding of the Diwali story and were also able to learn some dance. Firstly, year 5 sat in a circle and discussed what they already knew about the festival. It was a brilliant and in-depth discussion. After this, they were able to get up and move around the room in many different patterns. They created a fantastic group dance routine and every child really enjoyed their time. We said a big thank you before heading back to class with our new learning.
